Who Are Dr. Paula T. Webb and Mark Douglas?

Considering their world-renown reputation in the investment industry, it is incredible this page needs to exist. However, it became apparent that the record needs to be set straight.

This page is not intended to be a discourse about internet piracy or AI-generation posts, rather it is to remind all of you that Dr. Paula and Mark worked together to create the Philosophy of Trading Psychology.

Mark did not create this genre by himself as so many of you falsely and erroneously write and post to build your business and monetize yourself using our reputation. Just because traders download a mere three or four pirated videos of Mark they assume he was the only one creating materials, which shows how little traders understand the materials or who Dr. Paula is and who Mark was as co-creators of this field, at all.

Dr. Paula and Mark spent decades developing these materials and traveling the globe together teaching traders of all levels how to think like winners – as business partners and married couple. Tens of thousands of traders attending their workshops had no problem paying for services, (also including the millions that have bought and continue to buy our books), because they know they are working with not only the pioneer of trading psychology as Dr. Paula is, but they are also working with the best of the best.

Dr. Paula and Mark are two successful traders and investors who spent years developing these materials. Through their joint blood, sweat, and efforts they created what continues to be a growing body of work to help you become the best trader you can be. A mission that Dr. Paula continues to this day – not filling Mark’s shoes but sharing deeper insights through materials geared for today’s traders and global market conditions as she has been doing all along.

So, as Mark asked many times before he died from a broken heart due to the piracy, how is it that traders feel it’s okay to download our materials, repost our materials, monetize themselves and not give it the thought that this is outright theft of intellectual property they have no claim to? Just because they find it on the internet doesn’t mean it’s legal and they are aware of this, otherwise they would post our website URL. Dr. Paula and Mark have always been generous sharing their materials – all they ever asked for those posting was to add their website URL…which was never honored. A simple website link was too much to ask because the monetization might not be 100% back to those posting. That folks, is not respect. As for the question about theft, that is easily answered.

None of you who steal from Dr. Paula know who she is nor do you care, none of you respect Mark although you claim you do because you have no idea what it takes to create something where nothing existed previously. In other words, all of you stealing, posting, downloading for free – again don’t use the excuse you found it on the internet – do not have respect for another human being and their work…much less what it takes to become and remain a winning warrior in the markets. And that is the real tragedy for you.

Make no mistake, if it weren’t for the collaboration between Dr. Paula and Mark, traders visiting this website would not be where they are right now as a trader, because none of their materials would have ever been written. In the decades-full sets of recorded workshops in our warehouse inventory – none of which will ever be on the internet for obvious reasons – Dr. Paula and Mark enjoyed respect and created a reputation that continues to this day in ever-increasing numbers. The materials in those workshops will only be shared in our “One-on-One Live – Disciplined Trader” workshops.

• Our office suggests you stop and think twice before you download what today may be edited or AI-generation false materials posted using our reputation.
• We also suggest you question the false narrative out there that Mark created this by himself, convincing yourself now that he is gone, you have rights to the materials that belong and always have belonged via copyright/trademark to Dr. Paula.
• If something is free on the internet, there is another side as to why it is free.
• And that may not be in alignment with your trading goals, which we are seeing in increasing numbers with the advent of AI-generation.

With that said, we have agreed it is overdue that people in the investment industry are busted publicly for laying claims to materials created by Dr. Paula and Mark and posting those materials for their own monetization. More importantly, the real fact that Dr. Paula worked alongside Mark from the very first set of their handwritten notes on innumerable legal pads will be made known across the industry to dispel the false narrative by those stealing our materials to justify their theft.

As we have stated for years, this commentary is for your benefit. We want you to succeed as traders. Don’t be one-sided in your approach to your trading education thinking you are getting authentic materials just because they are free. We are not responsible for you losing your trading account after using pirated or downloaded materials we did not post and have no association with.
